Coach supervision
A reflective dialogue that offers support, learning and professional development for coaches in an individual or group setting.
Supervision supports all coaches—no matter your experience or credentials. It’s a reflective space to deepen presence, explore professional edges, and grow through continuous learning, guided by an experienced MCC-certified supervisor.
One-on-one Supervision

Private, tailored sessions that allow for deep personal reflection on coaching challenges, ethical concerns, professional development and individualized feedback and targeted strategies for improvement.
Group Supervision

Structured collaborative discussion of dilemmas, case studies, and best practices within a supportive group of 5-8 coaches led by the supervisor. Offers a variety of perspectives and shared learning from peer experiences and builds professional community and networking opportunities.
Three functions of supervision
In both one-on-one and group supervision all three functions are covered:
- Formative (Developmental) – focusing on the coach’s growth and skill development: refine techniques, expand knowledge, and enhance effectiveness through reflection, feedback, and learning.
- Normative (Quality & Standards) – ensuring coaches adhere to ethical guidelines, best practices, and professional standards.
- Restorative (Support & Well-being) – Coaching can be emotionally demanding. This function provides a safe space for coaches to process challenges, manage stress, and build resilience, preventing burnout.
Example coach dilemmas
What am I not seeing in my coaching that might block my client’s progress?
Why do I feel more energized with certain clients than others?
How is my coaching approach maximizing the time I have with each client?
How do I best contract with multiple stakeholders to set up successful coaching conditions?
Based on my team coaching experience, how should I respond if I sense the leader isn’t fulfilling their role?
Can I ethically coach both a team and its individual leader?
What do I do when the team looks to me for answers during conflict or uncertainty?
How should I respond when someone asks about sensitive insights shared in confidence?
What is my responsibility when coaching reveals toxic or harmful workplace behavior?
When do I feel triggered by a client—and what might that be telling me?
How do I know if I’m the right coach for a client—or if it’s time to step back?
